In my lemming to get MAC's fluidline brow creme (which is also overpriced and as usual expensive here) I search for an alternative for a while since Muah and I aren't going to MOA yet. I stumbled upon a blog about MAC fluidline's brow gel creme and a girl commented that she uses Maybelline's color tattoo in Tough as Taupe as her brow liner and it works great. Okay, so I researched about it and actually, people rave about it! I then look at the swatches on the net to see if the color will be too dark for me since I plan to use on both my brows and lids. After I have seen some, I was sold. I searched a local Multiply seller and good thing that Stuff in Style got one on stock! I grabbed it right away and paid for the invoice and I received it the day after Sis Windy, the very accomodating owner of Stuff in Style sent it. (it's packed in a bubble wrap ^_^)
It's delivered by Xend, who by the way is always on time! :)
It is a taupe right, but when I smudge it, it turns into a lighter brown ON MY ARM.
See? IT IS brown right? BUT........
It became gray on my eyebrows. I dunno what happened. lolz. But on my lid, I kinda liked how the color showed up.
I just lightly layered my In2it brow powder on top to make it look natural and not too dark.
Left eyebrow: with Tough as Taupe and In2it's brow powder.
Right eyebrow: with Tough as Taupe only
It looked natural be it with or without my In2it brow powder right? I just want to match it with my hair color, because, you know the look of someone who has colored hair but dark-for-her-hair brows right?
I got the Maybelline Color Tattoo for Php 400.00 with free shipping already. (the joys of online shopping through Multiply hehe)
If you're looking for this one too or other the other brands such as MAC, Real Techniques, Revlon, Sigma etc., Stuff in Style have those! :)
