I've been lemming to get MAC Faux ever since I read on many bloggers that it has a pretty nude-pink-mauvey color. I also love the way it look on fair-skinned girls so I decided to pay MAC Alabang Town Center a visit last Friday, and as usual, I won't leave empty handed. hehe . I swatched almost all the colors that I am intrigued to see and found out that some are just so overrated. geeezzz.... Anyway, I bought 2 lippies. This one and Cosmo. I'll gonna review Faux first and you'll see why it's my MLBB shade! :)
The color somewhat altered due to my camera setting.
The color of MAC Faux is so pretty! Faux means fake or imitation and it did imitate the color of my lips. ♥
It reminds me of my Mac Angel (that i let go already because it washes me out) but this one's much wearable, much prettier and a tad darker but with same hue. It's in a Satin formula that isn't drying on lips. It also lasts at least 4 hours on me without eating or else, I'll need to retouch (but I don't mind hehe). It's great if you want to portray an all-natural look or just don't want to look too made up. It's like, if you want to look pretty, just wear this one together with a well-made brows, a blush and you're ready to go! :D I find myself reaching out for this lipstick often than MAC Cherish, but don't get me wrong- Cherish is also a very pretty shade but Faux is my lips but better shade. I highly recommend this to those girls with NC 20 skin tones or lighter to grab this one!
MAC Faux is a sexy and undestated at the same time. This will be one of MAC lipsticks that I'll repurchase when I finish it.
Natural look on my pigmented lips. It's my lips but better shade.
Pigmented that you only need just a swipe to got your lips covered.
Has a Satin formula that isn't too drying, but I recommend to use a lip balm first. :)
Doesn't settle on lines of my lips.
It's a very very pretty shade! ♥
Expensive at Php 1000.00 on MAC counters. (bought this at MAC ATC)
Doesn't last long enough unlike my other lippies in matte and amplified finish.
The shade outcome will vary on each skin tone and lip pigmentation so on some, it may wash them out or will not look like their natural lip color. :)
How about you? Have you found your perfect MLBB yet?
