Review: Physicians Formula Matte Collection Eye Shadow in Canyon Classics

I want to learn how to do my eyes, specially now that I already learned how to do my brows. I don't want to look like I'm too made up by using my MUA palette which consists of shimmery and metallic colors (although they are pretty!), and I'm not yet ready to spend thousands of pesos for an eye shadow palette like Urban Decay's Naked Palette.

So, as I was browsing Bon Marche's store, this eye shadow quad from Physicians Formula caught my attention. I immediately searched the web for its reviews and voila, I read mostly positives, so I bought it together with my Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation. I can't believe how amazing it is when I opened and tested it!

The consistency is slightly powdery but it's more on the creamy side as you can see.

Shades: Medium brown, Dark brown, Light brown, Cream

I am not surprised to find out that the consistency is quite creamy and so blendable as it's what the reviews said. The colors are pigmented and all neutral. It goes on smoothly on my lids too! For an affordable price, you sure will be amazed with this palette because it has the quality of higher end brands. :) I also find the colors so easy to mix up and yet, it still look natural. I really love the Cream colored shadow as it brighten up my eyes instantly! ♥ I have also read that others use the darkest shade as their brow powder (multi-purpose right?). It lasts the whole day on my oily lids and I'm not wearing a primer yet. I love love love this and this is a really great buy!

Here's me wearing the Canyon Classics Eye Shadow:

On my Face:
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Cream in Buff Chamois
Wet 'N Wild Eye and Brow pencil liner in Taupe for my nose contour
Maybelline Hyper Curl Volum' Express Mascara
In2it brow powder, Nichido pencil liner in Chestnut and Majolica Majorca lash colorists for my brows
Physicians Formula Matte Collection eye shadow in Canyon Classics
Nars Deep Throat
MAC Pink Nouveau
Etude House Volumer

Very affordable at Php 300 when bought at Bon Marche.
Pigmented. A little goes a long way.
Creamy and easy to blend.
Neutral colors that every one will surely love.
Lasts long even on my oily lids.

The packaging can somewhat improve (it's plastic and it doesn't feel sturdy)
Has a mirror but I doubt if I'll use it because it's so small.
Not available locally here in Manila. (I think? Please correct me if I'm wrong)
The sponge tip applicator is useless (for me)

How about you? Have you tried this yet? :)
