My Etude House Face Color Corset in #06 Sexy Shading Fit

Yeah. Such a long blog title right? haha. In search of a cheap matte contour powder, I stumbled upon Etude House in SM Southmall. I originally want to get The Balm's Bahama Mama, but I said to myself that, I'll buy this one first because I still need to practice to do some more contouring on my face.

used to contour my nose here. (as if nothing happened! lol!)

It has a an orange undertone which isn't flattering on me, and because the powder's so sheer, it barely showed up not until 4 swipes on my arm. On my face, it barely showed up too. Yes, it's THAT sheer that you want to just give up because no matter how many layers you piled on, it's hardly seen. Well, at least it's cheap or else... It's also okay because I'll just use this to practice my contouring skills.

Nose Contouring using an eyebrow pencil

Yeah right. I know most of you gals are using contouring/bronzing powders to contour your face and nose, but I can't seem to find the right shade for me though. It's either the ones I tried looked too brown that it made my skin look dirty or too orange. *sigh* I am about to check out The Balm's Bahama Mama yet when I have the time. I have found a way to contour my nose using Etude House's Drawing Eyebrow pencil in #03 (brown). It's not too brown nor too red. It has the right amount of brown on it with no undertones. A plus for me!

So here it goes.... Please forbid my bare face here. Bad skin. yikes! :)

Line your nose starting from the inner corner of your eye with your chosen brown eyebrow pencil.

The most important part. Blend the lines with your chosen shading/blending brush.
Make sure to properly blend everything because you wouldn't want to look like you have 2 sticks beside your nose. *hehe*

I use my super soft Charm Shading Brush for this.

                                                                              Done! :)

I hope to buy a real contouring powder that will suit my skintone soon. :)

My Charm Makeup Brushes

I've been reading so many good reviews about these makeup brushes, so when Multiply held another Discount Frenzy last Thursday and Beauty and Minerals is participating, I didn't think twice. I immediately load my cart with brushes which I think I need most. If I have another choice, I'll get their 14-pc. Vegan Makeup Brush instead. LOL. The Php500 discount is only valid if you make a purchase with a minimum of Php1,500, so I made sure that I'll go just a little bit higher than that. (yeah right!) So after inputing my shipping details and checking out, i just found out that they don't offer free shipping for these, but, they charged me with minimal fee thru Xend.

So, I paid on Sunday, and voila! I received it yesterday afternoon! *yay* I'm soooooo excited to try these brushes already! They're heavenly soft and doesn't feel scratchy on my skin at all.

Yves Rocher Velvety Loose Powder + Flawless Finish Corrector

Last weekend was SM Southmall's 3-day great sale, and of course, I'm there.. *winks*  I already have a fluid foundation and primer from Yves Rocher, (pronounced as iv-roshi) and I really really swear of this brand. It is the only one that has a perfect match to my color and their products really delivers plus the fact that their affordable too! This time I bought their loose powder and concealer as it was on sale too. (by the way, they had 10% off on all of their products, while some was at 30% off like the Flawless Finish Foundation) Good thing that they also have their in-house make-up artist who helped me in choosing the right color. Lucky me because they only have 1 stock of loose powder and concealer! *yay*

Here they are:

                                                        I got a freebie too! :)

It's in 100 Beige. The lightest from the beige shades.
